You just got that slick new website, and you just finished posting your ad to a gazillion FFA sites, and classified ad sites, and search engines. You're ready to kick back and watch your hit counter spin like a maniac.

Whether it’s anyone of the things above or whatever your own spin might be on it. It’s right there. It says something about the person themselves when you ask that type of question. It says that you are tired of the way things are and that you want something better. You recognize the fact that you are not living up to your full potential.

So know that at least, number 1, you are on the right track if you have asked such a question. YAY…the rest is easy! (I know, you’re saying, “riiiight”)

So with all of these things, keep in mind that these are not the real problems. They are just symptoms of the bigger issue. What we want to do is get down to the core of what is really going on. What is it that is truly holding you back.

Whew, What a Ride!

I’ve never really panicked before but I swear I was on the verge. I was driving around for at least an hour and a half and there was no sign of her.

But wait. I’m getting ahead of myself.

There have been so many supportive people that have been emailing me and asking about my move to California. The usual questions. Wondering if we made it safe and how Arianna did with during the drive that kind of thing.

The drive was great. Hardly seemed like we were traveling at all. I was driving the 26 foot U-Haul towing an Oldsmobile and Jodi, my wife was driving my X-Terra with Ari and her Mom.

I was doing what I usually do when I have to travel long distances. I put on my MP3 player of the Sedona retreat that I just got back from (19 CD’s in all) and listened to that most of the way.

Jodi I’m sure had plenty to talk about with her Mom…or should I say that her Mom probably had plenty to talk about. She can carry on conversations about anything! And there we were, traveling across the country to follow a dream.

We had stopped plenty of times so that Ari could get out and play and again, she was a champ. The only trouble that we had was just inside Utah. Jodi had pulled over for our girl and some trucker dude said that the tires on the X-Terra were getting, “mighty worn.”

Now mind you, I was still trucking down the highway listening to Hale talk about “The 5th way of releasing with the Sedona Method. Jodi called me and said that this trucker dude had told her not to travel on it anymore. Well of course the place that she had stopped at miraculously sold tires and of course you can’t just replace one. You need to buy all 4!

BUT WAIT! If we would buy the first 3, then he would throw in the 4th one. What a nice guy. Right.

We stayed the night in Vegas after that and had a great time. Except for the part where it was 112 degrees and the hotel wouldn’t allow us to keep my dog Pumbaa in the hotel room with me.

They threatened to call Animal Control. I talked with the security guys for a little bit and they asked me if Pumbaa was a working dog. (as he was nodding his head yes) and I immediately caught on and said, “Yes…Yes he is.”

They let him stay.

So the first night that we finally arrived in California everything went well. We started to get the truck unloaded and went to a place where we could leave it overnight. On the way back from that place Jodi was behind me and I saw her pull over on the highway.

I know she would not have done that if it weren’t important. So I got off the freeway and then headed back around to where I saw her pull over. By the time that I got back on and drove past where she was, she was gone.

Just like that.

What’s worse, she didn’t have her cell phone on her.

I drove around again and there was still no sign of her. She has no idea where she is at or where she was going and yet she drove on.

To help alleviate the drama somewhat, she did arrive back home safe…2 hours later!! She just thought that she would find her way back home eventually.

Have you ever been so mad at someone and yet scared and didn’t know whether to lecture or yell or cry? Yes, even with all of “my training” it was tough to handle.

I didn’t yell, I didn’t curse (maybe a little cursing)

I just expressed how very much I wish that she would take her cell phone with her next time or at least pull over and find a phone knowing that her family would want to know that she was safe.

All of this was said through clenched teeth and a quiet voice.

So there it is. Our first experience in California. Not bad really when you think about it. Everything has been working out perfectly and so we are set to go on and do what it is that we came here to do.

I’m eager to meet everyone out here who is on the same path and want to further their spiritual development. I’m excited to have an opportunity to expand what it is that I have been teaching learning at the same time.

Time flies...

I just realized that it's been a couple of weeks since I wrote anything down here. I'm sorry about that.

Things have been quite hectic as far as appointments are concerned. I am going to be out of town starting today and there are a lot of people who want to get in before I do that.

SO...yes, I am leaving for Arizona today and I can't even tell you how excited I am!!

I have been working with the Sedona Method in my own practice because it is absolutely amazing to watch a healing transformation take place right there during the session. Those that are open to the process also comment on the dramatic change. I am headed down to Sedona Arizona to study more on this method and how I can make it even more affective in my work.

I will be there for about 2 weeks, so gone a long time. But I will keep everyone up to date and let you know how you can work this into your own lives. I believe you will just be amazed. This could be one of the things that you are look for when it comes to healing your past and present issues. Learning to let go and release can be a difficult thing but open up to the possibility that it is easier than you think.

It is a complete mind shift.

Just the FAQ's

I would like to share with you a question that I often get asked and one that faces many people. To be sure, it is a difficult situation but I hope that the following helps. Of course, as always, I’m not including the name with this.

Bobby,
The sudden death of my husband last year still has me in such an emotional grip. The grief is so very hard to pull through. Do you have any guidance or thoughts to share with me on this?

I believe that what happens to us when we are going through the grieving process is that we tend to try to keep ourselves out of it. In other words, we often don’t allow ourselves to feel what we’re actually feeling. This is because in this particular situation, we might be trying to maintain our strength for family and loved ones. If we have kids then we don’t want to make it tougher on them by letting them see us cry. We don’t want them to worry.

I say, let them see you cry.

It’s important to share with them the grief that you feel. We need to grieve together.

In my humble opinion…(a phrase I use when I don’t have the degree to back up what I’m saying. It’s just in my own experience) Kids are a lot smarter than you might think. They feel when something isn’t right and if you’re hiding the true way that you feel then you are going to confuse them. You say, “No honey, Mommy’s fine” and they hear, “I’m really feeling sad”. They can’t understand why you are saying one thing and then feeling another. They don’t know how to respond to their own feelings and this can be confusing.

If you don’t have kids then you might be trying to be strong for everyone else in the family. You get asked a thousand times, “Are you okay? How are you holding up?” So it’s best that we try to avoid that situation (so we think) and not have to deal with all the questions. Sometimes people just don’t know what to say in a situation like that. I say that if you find yourself in that position, the best thing you can say to that person…is nothing. Maybe take them by the hand, allow that nice healing energy to come from you and pass into them. Smile and maybe say, “Hi”.

Believe me, they will get the message that your heart is really saying and not our words that can taint the feeling.

So back to how it is that YOU can face this difficult time.

3 words.

Let. It. Happen.

We talked about how we push our feelings back and keep them at bay. The most healing thing that you can do for yourself and everyone around you is to allow your feelings to be present. The misunderstanding with this is that they will consume you. Threaten to overtake you and then you will be this quivering mass. You won’t be able to stop crying and you aren’t sure how you will get out of it.

It’s a lie.

Don’t believe me? Prove it for yourself. Don’t just take what I say at face value. Take another incident in your life. Perhaps one that doesn’t have such an emotional grip on you.
Allow what you are feeling in the NOW moment. Without trying to change it or fix it. Just see for yourself what happens. You might find your self feeling a lot lighter. Take the grip out of the feeling.

The pain and suffering that you experience is you pushing back against event or circumstance or person. Not the situation itself.

Crying through our grief is one of the most natural ways of releasing there is.

It’s a lot like a belly laugh. Remember the last time that you laughed so hard you were wheezing and gasping for air as your eyes watered. Finally when you were done you took this really deep breath and relaxed into the moment. And you probably felt better.

That is a natural way of letting go.

Bring those emotions to the surface; allow them to be there and then see what happens. Your way of fighting against them now is more than likely not working for you. It never has.

So what if you were to try something different? Even if only for a few moments.

If your family and loved ones truly support you, they will give you the space needed to cry, get angry, feel abandoned or any other host of feelings that might surface. They will understand.

And if they don’t, well, what I tell my clients is…(insert your own expletive here)

God, what have I done?...

That's what I was thinking as I got off the plane today. I arrived in California to visit and do some work here. Most of you know that I am moving here very soon...

July 16th to be exact.

And the first thought when my friend Lenny picked me up and we were racing down the highway was, "This is a big place"...I wonder if it's too big?

I started to become somewhat overwhelmed and yes even questioned if moving here was the right step to take. "How can I make a difference here??" "Are people going to want to make an appointment with this guy from South Dakota?"

The questions were brief, but they were there just the same. And fortunately for me, loved ones who have crossed over can come through no matter where I'm at.

I think it's important for you to know that as many classes as I have taught on manifesting what you want and how to think more positive and shift your focus to the things that you DO want and not what you don't want, I even run into times where I can get a bit anxious.

There are actually people out there that think, "Oh, he never gets angry", or "He is so calm about things". Well, you need to know that I have my moments so that you don't put some people on a pedestal. Even the best masters like Dr. Joe Vitale and James Ray have openly admitted that they get scared and nervous.

I'm not comparing myself in any way to them, but for the people who know me and those who have listened to me explain and ramble on about how to better their lives, I wanted you to know that I do it too!

My good friend and Mentor Mary Grahm has said, "It's a lot like learning to fix your own toilet. It's not that it never breaks down again, you just deal with it better". So the feeling eventually went away but goodness!

Then of course I fall into that trap like everyone else and think, "I should know better than to feel this way". Yeah, right. My family is counting on me to remain strong and help them through this major change and it is easy to not allow yourself to feel what you feel because you have place a burden on yourself of "Everyone is counting on me" If you have loving and supportive people around you and you listen to that small still voice inside, then you can't go wrong.

The best thing to do when you are feeling a bit anxious and nervous over a new situation or change is to allow yourself to feel it. Don't resist it. Trust in yourself to know that you were guided in some way to make that choice or you wouldn't be doing it.

And if you drink, a glass of wine helps too :)

Whew, I feel better, thanks. Lenny just walked through the door and I better not let him see me cry.....Thank you for letting me get that off my chest. I'm going down to my favorite Starbucks now and grab a Marble Mocha Macchiato.

Now this Post may not be all that informative, or life changing or even help you at all. But it helped me to write it down and journal it so that I could release on it. Which of course, is what I teach my clients to do....:):)

Angels and Positive Thinking

I know that many of you have already heard so much about "The Secret" and the way to think positive. I mention it on my show weekly as I am trying to coach others on how to live the way they want.

I like however to be focused on going beyond the movie. so many are confused that if they have a negative thought that they are going to have it manifest.

Believe me, Your positive thoughts have a thousand times more power than your negative ones.

Have you thought about turning your thoughts over to your angels?

That is what my good friend Kristi Wammen talks about in her article. Your Angels are just waiting to work with you. Doreen Virtue says that she sees it as sometimes when she does a reading for someone, that she sees them just standing around not doing anything because they are waiting for input from us.

We have to ask them to come into our lives. They won't interfere unless you ask them to do so.

Often times when I have a session with someone they might feel as though I left out some information because I was censoring it or thought it might be too tough on them. that I was saving them from hearing bad news.

Trust me when I say that I don't' hold anything back.

I may feel that the information doesn't need to be shared with other people if we are doing a Gallery and even then I will meet with you afterwards to tell you what it is that I saw. I'm not some wise sage that keeps information from you to help you grow on your own. You have wonderful Spirit Guides and Angels that monitor your growth and they pass on to me whatever information they feel you should know or can handle at the time.

The following is a letter from one of my most dearest Spiritual Growth Clients and a couple of questions. One of which entails the opening above. I changed her name because...well, just because!

Bobby,
This is important that you answer this for me - did you see the signs of what was happening to me - honestly? Did you know I was on this track? I am starting to find out my own answers to the many questions that I have asked you. I know you don't have time to answer them all.

Sally,
I know that you are starting to see your own answers to the many questions you have and that is so much better than listening to me ramble on. One because you are finding them out for yourself. It’s not for me to give you answers every step of the way as your angels want you to make these brand new and exciting discoveries…it’s all you. It always has been and it always will be. And they mean so much more when you “discover” rather be handed answers, from me or anybody.

I don’t intentionally hold answers from anyone. Sometimes people think that I know things that I’m not telling them or that I see something for them and then keep it to myself. That is not the case at all. I CAN tell however if I am not wanting to work with a person’s energy because they are just “not there” yet. I would not have continued to work with you had I thought that you weren’t doing the things that are being asked of you. (not by me, your angels)

What the movie "The Secret" Doesn't Tell You-Part ll

I am getting ready to submit this article but thought that I would give you all a sneek peak before I did so. The Secret is such a great movie and gives those who are in my field a great jumping point when discussing how one can change their life.

I knew that there was something missing though.

So I decided to write a few articles on the secret BEHIND the secret. It's about releasing and letting go of habitual thought patterns that plague our minds every single day. Some refer to it as "Monkey Mind" Whatever it is, it's annoying as hell! It is unfortunately those thoughts that are creating our reality instead.

What can you do to change those?

How do I release on a negative feeling?

Easy. Monitor your 60 thousand thoughts a day and catch the ones that don't serve you. Okay, so not so easy. Let's step back a little bit.

The Emotional Trap

Negative and limiting emotions are the playground for imbalance, unsure ness, worry and anxiety. When you are caught up in your emotions, you are making decisions based on what you see through those emotional glasses. What we want to be able to do is to take off those emotional glasses so that you can make more clear choices based off of higher unlimited emotional states such as courageousness, acceptance and peace.

And once your there anything is possible. There are a lot of times that we cannot reach for what we want based off of the principals of the movie “The Secret" Letting go of the emotions that hold you back are ways of implementing the movies guidelines so that you become everything it is that you want to be.

The trap that we fall into is all of the oppositional thoughts that come up when we use the principals of “The Secret”. All of those thoughts that say it’s not true. Such as:

“I have all the money I need to pay my bills”
“I am living in abundance”
“I am moving more and more towards financial freedom”
“I am truly happy every day in every way”

It looks good on paper but notice the resistance that engenders when you say those phrases. Often times it is right in your gut or just below the sternum. It’s different for everyone. Sometimes you break out in cold sweats and bang your hand against your head like Rain Man…wait…that was me 5 years ago. Sorry.

Now the quickest shortest way towards your goals is to say it to yourself just like the movies suggests. You vision it, feel it. Just as if it were happening to you right now. Again though, that is tough for most of us because it feels as though we are lying to ourselves. Most of our responses to the above statements are, “Yeah right.” “Whatever” and the ever famous, “Bulls***”

Those thoughts, needless to say, don’t serve you. What if you tried to phrase it just a little differently? What if you could phrase the goal statements in a way that allowed for the possibility of having abundance or being truly happy?

Try this.
“I allow myself to have all the money I need to pay my bills”
“I allow myself to have abundance”
“I allow myself to be truly happy”

Notice how that feels? Can you feel the space opening up within? See how now it’s not such a stretch for you to reach your goal. When you allow for the possibility then you don’t have very far to go before you can kick it up a notch and say, “I am living in abundance.” I am truly happy.”

Remember, your emotions and feelings don’t want you to be happy. They would rather have you stay in the security of your suffering than to be out in the unlimited possibility of the unknown. Grasp this, and you will well be on your way to mastering your own mind and creating the type of life you deserve to have.

Twin Souls and Soul Mates

The Angels bring many healing messages through quiet contemplation and meditation if one simply allows them to do so. They speak directly to the issues weighing heavily on one’s heart and rush to your side to offer their loving assistance. Once the mind chatter is quieted, the desire and intention to receive angelic information is sent out to them, beautiful heavenly messages and inspiration is imparted by them.

What are Soul Mates?
Soul mates are those kindred spirits with whom we have had previous lifetimes. We may have incarnated in varying roles with our soul mates; husband/wife; mother/daughter; brother/sister; or as best friends. Our soul mates are those souls who are a part of our soul group on the other side, our heavenly family. The incarnations we have with other souls from our soul group are intended to be mutually beneficial to our soul growth individually as well as wholly to our group.

Life lessons and karma are orchestrated and played out on this physical plane to enable accelerated spiritual growth for our higher selves. When we meet a soul mate, we recognize an immediate connection; a connection that seems to be at a higher level of consciousness. We may have very similar interests, likes or dislikes, beliefs and opinions. There is an instant closeness that seems to pick up where the souls left off, either in previous lifetimes or on the other side. The Angels say that soul mate relationships, in whatever form, are divinely orchestrated for the purpose of heightened spiritual development of self and expansion of unconditional love.

True harmony and compatibility are felt between soul mates, although it is not to say that humanly conflicts and situations don’t affect the soul mate relationships. All such encounters are part of our divine plan of spiritual growth.

What are Twin Souls?
Twin souls are distinctly different than soul mates. Soul mates are intimately related to each other, but are separate souls within the same soul group. Twin souls are halves of the same soul. We have many soul mates, but only one twin soul.
Like the Yin Yang symbol representing the masculine/feminine duality and balance of all things in the Universe, souls also have their perfect balance of energies, love and completeness.

When we make the decision to journey through another lifetime of learning on earth, with heartbreaking sadness, we separate from the other half of our self to make that journey. The twin soul is the complementary half, the masculine or feminine counterpart, that was created from the Divine. Twin souls when united experience an unimaginable, unconditional love, wholeness and spiritual connectedness with the other half.

In some incarnations, however, our twin soul incarnates at the same time and the possibility, or probability, of reuniting with our other half exists on this plane. When the timing and individuals’ spiritual growth is right, twin souls are drawn to each other through the universal Law of Attraction. Such reunions have been recounted through the centuries from the writings of Plato, which describe the intense yearning and desire present at the soul level between twin souls, to new age studies that attempt to guide discovery of one’s life purpose and reunion with the twin soul in this physical plane.

When one reunites with the twin soul, the intensity of the experience if often difficult to express in human terms; expressions of complete unconditional love, soul recognition at the deepest level, an inner knowingness that transcends humanly understanding with a connectedness of energies only comprehensible at higher levels of spiritual understanding known to the our higher self. Sometimes the union of twin souls is described as an experience akin to a kundalini, or life force, awakening throughout the chakra centers accompanied with ineffable joy and ecstasy.

Twin souls will usually have followed parallel life patterns and life interests; similar careers, life passions, life experiences and goals. Twin souls, when reunited, feel the twin’s desires, thoughts and feelings at a heightened level of connectedness at the soul level; to be separated from each other is unbearable; they feel a loving connection and knowingness reminiscent of that felt within the Light of the Creator – to which our souls longingly desire to return. The principles of the universal law, As Above, So Below, come into play with reunions of twin souls. Sparks of the spiritual love felt within the light above can be felt here, below, when reunited with our twin soul.

Can We Find Our Twin Soul?
Yes, when we are ready. While twin souls are part of one, they each are independent with separate, but complimentary personalities. Before twin souls can reunite here on earth, each must develop an independent wholeness, living with purpose and contentment. The twin souls develop those masculine and feminine aspects of their half for the advancement of the whole, with the gains achieved by one felt by the other. Author Patricia Jourdry in her insightful book, Twin Souls, A Guide to Finding Your True Spiritual Partner, enumerated 8 key steps in preparation for reuniting with our twin soul which echo the Angels’ sentiments:
1. Be joyful, as it is our true nature
2. Release materiality, be content with material things as they are without wishing for more and better
3. Open our spiritual selves through meditation, yoga, tai chi and studies
4. Work toward spiritual advancement in whatever your life profession
5. Care for our bodies, purifying them with good food, exercise, good thoughts
6. Limit exposure to negative images and ideas
7. Spend time in nature
8. Serve those in need, help heal humanity

The Angels impart the message that as we proceed into the Age of Aquarius and higher enlightenment and advancements in spiritual consciousness, greater numbers of twin soul reunions will occur, in turn helping the progression to enlightenment for our souls groups at both at the physical level as well as mental and physical levels.

The longing for reunion with our twin soul is divinely encoded into the fibers of our spiritual beings, to reunite in completeness with our selves and the divine universe. When the time is right, the Angels help orchestrate the circumstances for the twin souls’ paths to cross allowing the two to proceed along their life paths in harmony.

What are the Voices in My Head??

Often times we hear voices that appear to be coming from externally and we're not sure what they mean or if "they" are talking to us. More importantly what we should do about them. Unless the voices are coming from your rottweiler and telling you to shoot the president (which would indicate a very serious problem), here is what one listener of my radio show Spiritual Coffee asked.

I'm wondering what it means that I quite often hear my name being called, or on occasion a "help" or some other way to get my attention, usually my name though, and a lot of the time it's in the voice of one of my friends, but sometimes it's not, and when it's not it's kind of like it's a child or teen to young girl.

Often times our Angels and Spirit Guides get our attention in this way. It can sound like the voice of a friend because that is what is familiar to you. They don't want to freak you out. It is usually when your mind is most quiet. For some of us it can be that moment just before sleep or upon wakening. It does happen during the day if you happen to not be thinking about how much that phone bill you just got is or how on earth you’re going to come up with rent by the end of the month! I wouldn't be concerned about what they say so much just now.

At this stage of the game they are just trying to get your attention, which it sounds like they have done. Unless you really do have a little girl who is asking for help and she turns out to be real, then just notice right now when they say something to you and how you feel afterward. That is key…what do you feel after hearing the voice? Most often times they will direct you with inspired action following communication. If they aren’t communicating anything else to you, ask them. Ask them to show you something different so that you understand if you are supposed to do something about this or not. Right now, they are just letting you know that they are around and the usually do so with your name or something that grabs your focus.

Just enjoy the experience and don’t put too much into it for now but keep in mind that could change at any time. Keep working with this and your senses with become more clear as you go along.

Answering Your Questions

I have been asked to post my answers to some of the basic psychic and medium questions that I have received. Like a fool however, I haven't collected those throught the years. SO...this is where YOU come in.
If there are some basic questions that you would like to know more about please submit them on this blog. Please don't hold back on your questions. Some people say that they feel silly or that their question is too mundane. That couldn't be further from the truth. I think that you might be surprised to find that your questions are very similar to those around you. We all have this commonality and it should not be underestimated.

The Movie "The Secret" and What They Don't Tell You

It has been my experieince with my clients that the movie "The Secret" has been sweeping the nation. (You can view the first 20 min. of it free on a previous post)
The problem seems to lie with what The Secret is NOT teaching you. It's difficult to just start thinking positive. In fact if truth be known, thinking positive by itself doesn't work. You need at lesat 3 more elements to that. It's what I teach all of my Spritual Growth clients and in my classes. In fact, if you don't have these 3 other things, The Secret will not work for you or anyone else.
I have posted many articles on this subject. The first of which and I going to give you below. There will be more to come on this topic as the movie has generated much interest. Just remember that YOU get to decide your life...no one else. You get to decide how you wake up each morning and you get to choose how you are going to feel all day, every day.

Hey there everyone...
I was kindly told the other day that I needed to really do some serious work on my blog. So I am going to do my best to make that happen.
The first thing that I wanted to start out with was a couple of articles that you would be able to look over and download.

There is a wonderful girl in my class named Kristi who's passion is angels. She works with them on a daily basis and has taught many of my classes about the different types of angels. What's great about angels is that it doesn't matter what your denomination is in religion, they are non-denominational. You may call on them anytime and anywhere.
